Dear participants,
we would like to use this opportunity to thank all individuals and organisations that have contributed to this very successful symposium aimed to promote international collaboration in: science (common projects), education (joint programs and student exchange) and production in the field of animal science between the quadrilateral countries (Italy, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia), as well as others open and interested to address the fore mentioned goals: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Taiwan, China, Iran and especially Austria which will hopefully join the agreement represented by the BOKU university from Vienna. 
There were 38 oral presentations, 29 poster presentations. 54 internationally peer reviewed articles were published in Agriculturae conspectus scientificus 76 (3) and (4), also, The book of abstracts and plenary lectures is comprised of 70 headlines in printed and electronic version. Three young scientists with the best poster presentations were promoted.
Character of the symposium was confirmed by the patronage of the Ministry of science, education and sports of the Republic of Croatia and the Ministry of agriculture, fisheries and rural development of the Republic of Croatia as well as the EAAP.

We are sorry to inform you that we are not able to provide a guaranty letter for visa request if we are asked to provide financial and other responsibilities imposed by the Croatian immigration office.

in the name of the 19th ASD Organizing Committee and the ASD Coordination committee we would kindly like to invite you to actively participate at the 19th International Symposium ANIMAL SCIENCE DAYS with the topic: “Quadrilateral collaboration in animal science as a perspective for improvement of education and production”.
Our aim is to host as large as possible number of active participants from institutions signing the quadrilateral agreement, other institutions and researchers from the countries of quadrilateral agreement, as well as to welcome all other institutions and researchers from other countries, that would like to contribute to the symposium sections:
1. Breeding and genetics
2. Animal nutrition
3. Production systems: management and health
4. Animal product quality.
 We hope that this kind of overview will enable inception of many new international collaborations and especially for the new generations of researchers.
